OnlyBuyBritish was the brainchild of two business people, John Allsopp & Jayne Bond!
There is an overwhelming support of British patriotism about British manufacturing, farming and supporting our troops. However, there is a distinct lack of resources to allow us to easily identify how we can help our country rebuild its failing economy by sourcing local.
Our tag line is “British £’s in British tills” a simple message. If we stop buying imported goods and supported our own people, we would not only help with the carbon footprint, but we will grow our glorious country into wealthy and prosperity!
Q. What is the difference in British bacon to European bacon?
A. Farming methods. Britain is compliant with the EU farming regulations!
This site is for the “thinking person”. If the brand has chosen NOT to be mentioned, then there is potentially a reason why! NOT all iconic “British” brands are manufactured here!
Pro: We are supportive of factories owned by foreign nationals, as they support our UK workforce!
Against: We are not supportive of brands that outsource with massive profit margins! #Greed
We have been embraced with overwhelming support and many companies pride themselves of the British heritage.
We hope our resources help you source your products wisely.
We have an open door policy. If you want to be featured, have a comment or want to become part of “OnlyBuyBritish” we want to hear from you!

Jayne has a passion for the jewellery industry and this site is in support of the skilled craftsmen who still operate cost effectively in the UK, especially those in the heart of London’s historical jewellery quarter of Hatton Garden.
John Allsopp spent his early working life in a manufacturing environment, moving from regular employment with a major multi-national to becoming a self-employed troubleshooter.
Through his work with various large corporations, John saw a growing trend of outsourcing labour and product manufacture to overseas companies. As opportunities decreased, he switched his focus to online activities and moved into internet marketing.
In his new role of internet marketer, John successfully promoted several products and drove sales for many well-known brands both in the UK and USA.
In order to successfully promote brands online, John was forced to learn many new skills including search engine optimisation, search engine marketing, copywriting and website design.
With a keen interest and passion for web design and marketing, John recently decided to offer his services to UK-based small businesses with the formation of web design company, PoshWeb.
John believes that many small businesses are under-utilising their web presence. He now offers advice and a range of services at affordable prices to help small businesses compete with the major players.
